Chris Sotomayor has the reputation for being one of the fastest color artists in the business, and has been a mainstay at Marvel Comics since 1996. He’s proven himself time and again having worked on their top properties, including Spider-Man, X-Men, Dare Devil, Captain America, Hulk, and many others, as well as working on titles for DC, Image and Humanoids.
Past breakout works include Supreme Power/Squadron Supreme, Captain Marvel & Hulk: Planet Hulk.

First off, I'd like to announce that the Comics Experience online coloring class is officially sold out.
We've maxxed out the class and shut the doors, and the class will start this thursday (January 7, 2010) night.

Just wanted to let everyone know that starting this January, I'll be teaching an online course on digital comic book coloring.
You can find details on the Comics Experience website (www.comicsexperience.com/).
I designed the class with Andy Schmidt (for Marvel/ X-Men editor, and current editor at IDW on GI Joe), who runs Comics Experience.
It's a 6 week course, running every thursday, starting January 7th for 2 hours (9PM-11PM EST).
It's a completely interactive class, in real-time, in which you'll learn:
The technical aspects for setting up and making your page print ready.
How to properly flat a page.
Basic color theory & composition
